The installation concerns a closed solar water heater installation. This means that the heat from the collectors is transferred to the drinking water in the solar water heater by means of a heat transfer fluid. The advantage is that the installation can be used all year round (even during severe frost) and that the risk of corroding pipes is small. 
 
 
The packages are composed of high-quality European-made products that guarantee optimal efficiency. This package includes:
  • 4 x Solmax high-efficiency solar collectors (ISDE approved) with a total area of 8.48m². These can be installed in landscape and portrait orientation and are provided with the Solar Keymark certificate). 
  • For heat storage, a 400-liter solar water heater with two heat exchangers is supplied. The well-insulated solar water heater can be equipped with an electric heating element. The second heat exchanger can be used for an alternative energy source or for supporting heating.
  • A Solmax solar control station ECO. This computer with integrated pump group and flow meter regulates the circulation in the solar water heater installation. By means of various temperature sensors and the flow meter, the optimal flow of liquid through the system is regulated. If you do not need hot water for a period (for example, due to vacation), the vacation program can be set to prevent overheating.
  • 30 liters of solar fluid to be pumped into the system using the supplied hand pump. The solar fluid, specially developed for solar water heater installations, has an antifreeze value of -20 degrees. 
  • An expansion vessel is included, which is necessary to compensate for the differences that arise when the fluid expands and contracts.
  • A connection set for 4 collectors is included. This is necessary to connect the two collectors. A cover strip is also included, making the four collectors form a single unit.
