Possible applications of the DUAL HX200 / 120 Buffer
The DUAL HX200 / 120 Buffer can be used with PCCO MONO heat pumps. Thanks to the integration of two devices, the heater can be installed in small spaces. Only a small floor area in the boiler room is required. The delivery method of the device in separate subassemblies facilitates transport and eliminates the risk of damage during installation work. The only limitation for modernised buildings may be a too low room height (total height of the Buffer is 1986 mm).
Construction of the DUAL HX200 / 120 heater
The built-in boiler for domestic hot water has a larger coil surface, adapted to work with a low-temperature heat source. The capacity of 200 liters allows you to provide the required comfort of domestic water for the standard needs of 4-5 people. The increased capacity of the CO buffer (120 liters) ensures sufficient heat storage, even with air/water heat pumps with a capacity of 20 kW. This is required, among other things, by the proper functioning of the heat pump in defrost mode. In addition, the storage tank acts as a hydraulic coupling, which is especially important in conjunction with radiator heating systems in new and modernised buildings.

The use of the DUAL HX200 / 120 heater is independent of the type of MONOBLOC heat pump. It is connected to the supply and return connections of the indoor unit, as well as the supply and return of the heating system, as well as tap water and hot tap water. In addition, it is possible to install an electric heater in both the CO buffer tank and the hot water boiler.
