BUFFER TANK OKC300NTR / HP
Buffer OKC300NTR / HP
The Hewalex OKC 300 NTR/HP Buffer is designed for heating domestic hot water using a heat pump or other heat source with a reduced flow temperature.
The OKC 300 NTR/HP Buffer comes standard with one heat exchanger (heating coil). The coil has a significantly larger heat transfer surface compared to a heater of the same capacity, where one coil is designed to work with a boiler. The larger surface of the coil allows for maintaining the required heating capacity for heating domestic water at a lower flow temperature - in the range of 50-60 ° C. Favorable operating conditions are also guaranteed for low-temperature heat sources - a heat pump or a condensing boiler.
An additional optional heat source can be an electric heater - the heater allows installation in a separate 6/4 "stub. An additional inspection opening with a diameter of 150 mm, built into the lower part of the heater, facilitates maintenance and allows the installation of any additional accessories.
The buffer is characterized by low heat losses thanks to the use of thermal insulation of hard polyurethane foam with a thickness of 50 mm. The energy efficiency class "C" proves a very high standard in its class and size of heaters, while maintaining an optimal ratio between energy efficiency and purchase and operating costs.
The outer casing is made of hard plastic with increased resistance to dirt and mechanical damage. The internal steel surfaces are covered with ceramic enamel to protect against corrosion. Additional protection is provided by the magnesium anode, which is supplied as standard with the heater. The buffer can be placed directly on the floor and, thanks to the adjustable feet, can be accurately leveled.
OVERVIEW OF FEATURES:
1 heating coil with a significantly larger heat transfer surface
Design adapted to work with a reduced flow temperature (heat pump, condensing boiler)
The recommended ratio of heat exchanger surface to heat pump heating capacity is 0.2 m2 / kW (inverter compressor) or 0.3 m2 / kW (ON / OFF compressor)
Effective protection against corrosion thanks to the use of the Crystal Enamel® enamel surface
Optimal ratio between energy efficiency and purchase price and operating costs
Protective magnesium anode for additional protection of the internal surfaces of the heater
Minimizing heat losses by using ThermoGen® hard polyurethane foam
Hard plastic housing, easy to keep clean
Thermometer on the heater housing for reading the water temperature and controlling the heater
6/4 "stub pipe for mounting an electric heater, for example for emergency heating of domestic water
170 mm inspection opening in the lower part of the heater for maintenance or installation of additional elements
Adjustable feet for leveling the heater on the floor of the room

Buffer OKC300NTR / HP
The Hewalex OKC 300 NTR/HP Buffer is designed for heating domestic hot water using a heat pump or other heat source with a reduced flow temperature.
The OKC 300 NTR/HP Buffer comes standard with one heat exchanger (heating coil). The coil has a significantly larger heat dissipation surface compared to a heater of the same capacity, where a single coil is designed to work with a boiler. The larger surface of the coil allows the required heating capacity to be maintained for heating tap water at a lower flow temperature - in the range of 50-60 ° C. Favorable operating conditions are also guaranteed for low-temperature heat sources - a heat pump or a condensing boiler.
An additional optional heat source can be an electric heater - the heater allows installation in a separate 6/4" stub. An additional inspection opening with a diameter of 150 mm, built into the lower part of the heater, facilitates maintenance and allows for the installation of any additional accessories.
The buffer is characterized by low heat losses thanks to the use of 50 mm thick rigid polyurethane foam thermal insulation. The "C" energy efficiency class proves a very high standard in its class and size of heaters, while maintaining an optimal balance between energy efficiency and purchase and operating costs.
The outer jacket is made of hard plastic with increased resistance to dirt and mechanical damage. The internal steel surfaces are coated with ceramic enamel to protect against corrosion. Additional protection is provided by the magnesium anode, which is supplied as standard with the heater. The buffer can be placed directly on the floor and leveled precisely thanks to the adjustable feet.
