Lightweight due to EPP
Like the Blackbird P80, the casing of the Sparrow P60 is made from sound and energy-damping material EPP (Expanded Polypropylene). In addition to being one of the most environmentally friendly plastics, EPP is also durable and has proven its performance over time in the automotive industry. Besides its strength, low ecological footprint, and sound-insulating properties, the material is also lightweight, making the Sparrow P60 one of the lightest heat pumps (70 kg) in its power class.
